IT Telecommunications Apprentice

The successful candidates will be employed on a permanent contract attached to the Fibre installation team covering work throughout Northern Ireland. The role will be full time and involve 4 working days per week with 1-day attendance at Belfast Metropolitan College. Recruits will receive full funding and a generous starting salary to enable them to work towards a Level 3 Apprenticeship framework through a mix of work based and classroom learning.

Key units of study include Testing ICT systems, working with ICT hardware & equipment, telecommunications principles and a practical cabling assessment module. Significant time will be dedicated to on the job learning where the apprentice will spend time learning whilst working alongside an experienced telecoms engineer on a full fibre network.
