Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and integrate best practices.
  • Risk Identification and Assessment
  • Implementation and Monitoring of Control measures.
  • Provide timely, expert advice on health, safety, and wellbeing.
  • Lead and manage incident investigations and preventive actions.
  • Develop health & safety programs, including training and competency frameworks.
  • Serve as the main liaison for external stakeholders regarding the Integrated Management System.
  • Participate in wider Group Health, Safety and Wellbeing initiatives.
  • Collation of safety data for monthly reporting

Require skills and Knowledge

  • NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety or equivalent; IOSH membership preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability in managing health & safety metrics.
  • Skills in auditing and personnel management
  • Excellent communication, engagement, and leadership abilities.
  • Solid knowledge of H&S legislation, risk assessment, and safety culture development.
  • Proficiency in IT systems.
  • Flexibility for UK & ROI travel.

Desirable

  • Experience within a telecoms, utilities, or civil engineering environment
  • Experience of developing and implementing ISO 9001,14001 and 45001 Management Standards
  • Demonstrable knowledge and experience of managing CDM Requirements.
