Company:        Lagan Services Limited 
Job Type:    Summer Placement (3 days per week), running from Monday 15 June to Wednesday 26 August, working Monday to Wednesday.
Location:    Belfast Offices, Rosemount House 
Reporting to:  Accounts Office Manager

Lagan Services Limited provides professional and business support to the range of businesses within the group, and as our growth plans continue, we have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Finance Administrator to join the team.

Role overview
You will support with the effective delivery of Accounts services across a diverse group of businesses, working both independently and collaboratively. This role will require a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, ensuring timescales and deadlines are achieved.

What you'll do
The following reflect the main tasks associated with your position and are not intended to be exclusive or exhaustive.

•    General office duties such as, filing, scanning, archiving.
•    Provide an efficient and effective administrative support, implementing computerised systems and keeping accurate records to facilitate the smooth running of the office. 
•    Systems administration 
•    Opening and distributing mail
•    Data input, processing and General Filing duties.
•    Monitoring and updating records
•    Any other reasonable duties which may be required

What you'll bring
Your main skills and experience will include;

Essential Criteria
•    5 GCSE’s Grade C or above in Maths and English (or equivalent) 
•    Strong organisational and administrative skills 
•    Adaptable in their approach to work and able to undertake additional tasks when required 
•    Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally
•    Ability to work on own initiative
•    Be computer literate with Microsoft Office applications and capable to adapt to using other accounts or administrative applications.

Desirable Criteria
•    Previous experience in an administrative or office  
•    Practical understanding of office procedures and record keeping
•    Ability to maintain accurate files, spreadsheets, and documentation
