FK Lowry have successfully delivered CFA Piling Works at the A47 near Peterborough. FK Lowry were subcontracted to install sixteen 750mm diameter Continuous Flight Auger Piles for a new pedestrian and cycle bridge across the busy A47 Trunk Road.
Motorists, pedestrians and cyclists are all set to benefit from the planned works, which include road resurfacing, bridge joint replacements, the creation of cycle lanes, improved signage and landscaping.
We were delighted to successfully deliver this scheme for our client Graham. It comes on the back of recently completed projects for them at Aberdeen Hospital, Montrose Terrace and Gorgie Road in Edinburgh. The challenge here in Peterborough was logistics and planning but we had an excellent collaborative relationship with Graham’s Site Team and we completed the project to budget and programmeAdrian O'Rourke, Contracts Manager
