LaganMEICA has operated Kinnegar for over 21 years, this includes payment for Operations, Maintenance, Power, Chemicals and Mid Life maintenance. We embarked on an optimisation programme in 2016. Our 2020 power usage has been reduced by 30% compared to 2015 and previous years and is on course to achieve a further reduction in 2021. This has been achieved by smart investment and innovative use of the plant through process and plant optimisation.
