Lagan Specialist Contracting Group celebrated International Women's Day with a light breakfast for staff. We also held a raffle draw for an iPad and other prizes. All proceeds raised were donated to Women’sTec. This charity provides training to women in non-traditional skills and provides opportunities for them to return to employment.
At LSCG, we create workplaces where everyone is valued. We currently employ 88 women (20% of our workforce) across the Group in a range of roles from Apprenticeships up to Board level. What diversity means for us is creating an environment which is attractive for all people and not just the majority. Different people with different characteristics bring different ideas which help innovation and problem solving.
